at least the Moslem in Turkey those day accept the architecture of both Christianity & Islam built as a mosque. I wonder if that same tolerance attitude can be accepted here in Malaysia or by the Malays-muslim. It's only a building, your prayer still accepted by God right? Melaka have mosque with minaret looks like a Pagoda Tower.
actually the concept had been used in the Aya Sophia where you can still see till today, the mosaic of Virgin Mary next to the Allah, Mohammad, Ali and other Muslim characters. thats bcos Aya Sophia was used as a church (537),mosque (1453)and museum (1935)When they conquered Constantinople (Istanbul)the Ottoman Sultans didnt destroy buildings or churches.they remain intact till today unless due to Mother nature.How very cultured!
